Week 1. 19/09/08
Ok we have just started getting everything sorted out and have been writing lots of letters to local school, local churches and local organisations to see if they will allow us to do our presentation. to raise our funds for mission 2009. we have also started with this website so please bare with us we will do as much as we can to make it look better. right now our main priority is organisation and speed. we need to pray in responses from the locals as this is the main way we will get funds. we are also looking into team fundraising events but they will be later on in the year when we are sorted with the major things. we really do appreciate your help and support so plese do contact us with donations or idea's for fundraising or if you are part of a school, church, school and organisation and would like to help us by seeing our presentation we would love to here from you! our contact details are on our main webpage. please do keep a eye on this site becasue we will update it every week, with photo's and messages.

week 2 25/09/08
Heya Guys. Ok here we are in our second week of having our webpage. But our first week of Paperwork, meetings, letters posting, fundraising event organising and so much more. This week we have arranged our first meeting where the team will meet each other. we will have a breifing to find out what we are doing and how long for.
So far this week Kez has been ringing schools, churches, youth groups the whole lot and has actually got a nice list of places who are interested in having us do our presentation. But as normal they want it in writing so kez has been lumbered into doing all the letters to.
We have recently completed our presentation for the older schools and for churches we ahve now decided to do a presentation for the younger schools using photos and questions so we now have to do that. and also have to draw a huge outline of Africa so when we do presentations in secondary schools the studenst can put their spare change in the outline and fill africa with change.
We have sorted out our team kit so will be ordering that in real soon. we are all very excited about getting it and showing it off. We are also in the process of trying to find another sponsor but kez is on to that one as well.

Week 3. 1/10/2008
Hiya Everyone.
ok this week we have heard form a lot of people who are helping us with fund raising. everything is starting to take place now which is amazing. We have some events coing up in the next few months so please do keep your eyes on the "whats next for teamafrica" page as that is where all the details will be.
We have heard from a few school's who have agreed to let us do an assembly for their studenst so we will be startign in the schools very soon. In the mean time we are still working on ways for fundraising and still have lots to sort out. Kez has a few more meetings with people who have organised missions before so she will be getting some extra hints and tips from them which is really good.
We also have a team photo shoot coming up which will be really fun. so keep a look out for the new team photos which will be appearing soon!
For now there isnt much to add but please do continue to support us.
